What You’ll Be Doing
You will play a key role in shaping learning and emotional development by:
* Planning and delivering engaging, tailored lessons for KS2 pupils with diverse SEND and SEMH needs
* Using assessment data to guide progress and refine your teaching
* Creating a trauma-informed, therapeutic classroom environment
* Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, learning and relationships
* Working closely with specialist staff and teaching assistants
* Supporting every child’s social, emotional and academic growth
What We’re Looking For
You’ll shine in this role if you have:
* Proven experience teaching pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviour
* Strong understanding of curriculum, assessment and behaviour management
* QTS or QTLS
* A passion for supporting young people through difficult periods in their lives
* Resilience, empathy, adaptability and a reflective approach
* A strong commitment to safeguarding and professional conduct
