Overview
Associate Director opportunity in the Transport division, Leeds. Join a global design leader in sustainable transport planning, working with a range of private and public sector clients to shape the future of transportation. You will build and maintain client relationships, lead and mentor a team, and contribute to the growth of the wider Transport business across Stantec.
Responsibilities
* Build and maintain strong client relationships with developers, authorities, and co-professional collaborators.
* Lead and mentor a talented team; oversee delivery of project work that is commercially successful and technically excellent.
* Identify new client opportunities and drive business development to grow the Transport portfolio in the North of England.
* Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver a wide range of transport planning projects.
Qualifications
* Chartered Transport Planning Professional with a relevant degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Engineering or a related field.
* Proven track record delivering transport-related development planning work (e.g., Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, Environmental Statements).
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing medium to large projects or workstreams.
* Commercial acumen with a flair for business development and client engagement.
* Ideally, some experience of business development and an established presence in the regional market.
* Ambition and passion to grow the team, deliver existing projects, and identify new opportunities in the market.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will ideally be a Chartered Transport Planning Professional with a relevant degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Engineering or a related field.
