The Role The successful candidate will deliver dynamic and engaging Science lessons, encouraging students to explore, question, and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them. Responsibilities include: Planning and delivering high-quality Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum and examination specifications. Teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach A-Level depending on experience and specialism. Supporting practical experiments and investigations in line with health and safety regulations. Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on student progress and attainment. Contributing to curriculum development and departmental planning. Supporting enrichment opportunities such as STEM initiatives, clubs, and educational trips. Candidate Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with strong subject knowledge in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics specialism welcomed). Excellent classroom management and organisational skills. Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities. Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and safeguarding.
