As St Leonard’s Hospice embarks on a major project to expand its retail operation at Clifton Moor, we’re recruiting a part-time eCommerce Assistant to assist in delivering an efficient, organised and customer focussed operation. Our eCommerce team work with a variety of items that have been donated and will choose the best online platforms to maximise the income to the Hospice. Common donations the eCommerce team receive are: Fashion clothing, vintage clothing and jewellery Collectables, antiques and ceramics Books, vinyl and technology Working in a fast-paced environment, as an eCommerce Assistant you will: Research items ensuring the correct pricing is used, provide accurate listings on a number of online platforms and produce high quality photography to entice interest Ensure first class customer service level are maintained, striving for 100% positive feedback/ high seller ratings on our online platforms Build good relationships with shop management teams to ensure appropriate items reach the eCommerce department In order to succeed in this role, you will need to: Have excellent customer service and communication skills both in a verbal and written way Be proactive and able to use your initiative Be an effective team player Whilst having experience of listing items on online platforms is desirable, we’re keen to hear from you if you have an interest in any of the areas of commonly donated stock and as part of your induction you will be taught our procedures.
