What you will be doing
as a Soft Services Facilities Manager
1. Facilities Manager - To oversee and manage all day-to-day facilities operations on site, including audits, reactive and planned maintenance through FM service providers.
2. Supply Chain Management - Monitor contract performance, attend monthly contract performance reviews, initiate renewals, extensions and terminations, maintain accurate records of contractual documents and correspondence. Resolve disputes and manage risks.
3. Internal Stakeholder Management - Own and manage monthly internal stakeholder meetings and user groups pertaining to Facilities Management services.
4. External Stakeholder Management - Own and manage external stakeholders through supply chain management.
5. Change Management - Take a lead role in the transition and change of facilities management services.
6. Leadership - Lead, manage and support FM team, both internal and external.
7. Budget Management - Prepare and manage budgets for associated cost centre Reporting monthly through P&L management any variations.
8. Health and Safety - Working with H&S colleagues to ensure compliance with H&S and environmental regulations, develop and implement emergency response plans.
Location – Your base location will be Clearwater Court, Reading, on a Hybrid basis.
Working Hours – Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week.

Essential Skills:
9. Proven experience in facilities or estates management.
10. Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
11. Knowledge of health & safety legislation and compliance requirements.
12. Experience managing contractors and service contracts.
13. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

23. Offering between £47,000 to £53,000 per annum, depending on experience and skills.
