Job Purpose
Manage HR systems and reporting for the HR function, leading and supporting HR projects as required. Serve as the HR system superuser—training and supporting managers and HR colleagues—and ensure data accuracy before payroll processing. Model Chiltern Railways’ values and leadership behaviours.
Key Accountabilities
1. Support the implementation and maintenance of HR systems, integrations, and tools.
2. Act as a systems expert, providing technical support and guidance to the HR team and line managers on systems and reporting queries.
3. Assist the HR function with data input as needed.
4. Responsible for HR reporting, analyzing, interpreting data, and creating engaging, easy-to-use graphs.
5. Manage data requests from stakeholders and external bodies, including statutory reporting.
6. Collaborate with the Centre of Excellence and Subject Matter Experts to optimize HR system utilization.
7. Resolve system errors and implement processes to maintain data integrity and accuracy, ensuring GDPR compliance.
Personal Specification
* Essential: Experience with iTrent and Business Objects; advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs; reporting experience; troubleshooting and training capabilities.
* Desirable: Experience with Workday; acting as a super-user; conducting audits and implementing improvements.
* Attributes: Proactive, detail-oriented, innovative, flexible, capable of managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines, and able to design and deliver training materials.
