Join DCS Group, one of the UK’s leading distribution partners, as a National Account Manager and take ownership of some of the biggest brand relationships in the market.
We’re seeking a commercially sharp, results-driven NAM to manage a portfolio of customers and deliver best-in-class customer strategy. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead joint business planning, drive profitable growth, and build DCS market share by aligning supplier and customer ambitions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver supplier objectives through strong Joint Business Plans (JBPs)
* Own the full customer strategy, from relationship management to forecasting and commercial execution
* Understand your customer in depth — KPIs, formats, pricing, supply chain, marketing strategy, and more
* Collaborate on accurate volume and value forecasting
* Model and manage long-term account plans, including full analysis of ROI on supplier investments
* Control budgeted customer investment and efficiently manage invoice and claims processes
* Set up and monitor rebates/accruals
* Influence core range and distribution opportunities
* Track and interpret EPOS and competitor data to identify opportunities
* Maintain rigorous standards around compliance, especially related to the Good Distribution Practice (GDP) of medicinal products
* Produce actionable reports for internal and external stakeholders
Experience & Skills:
* Results-oriented, with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset
* Excellent commercial acumen and ownership of P&L
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Proven customer focus with advanced influencing and negotiation capabilities
* Forecasting, planning, and category management experience
* Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and business email communication
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
