Responsibilities
As our Team Leader, you’ll play a vital role in enriching the lives of residents by:
* Ensuring that all Staff Members contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the Home, and to the creation of an atmosphere conducive to the best interests of Residents.
* Taking responsibility for Resident care, as designated by the Home Manager in his / her absence and the absence of the Deputy Home Manager.
* Assessing social and health care needs of new Residents, and maintaining on-going assessment and review of all other Residents.
* Reporting any ill-health amongst Residents and making requests for GP / Professional visits where necessary.
* Ensuring meals are of sufficient quantity and good quality, and that Resident’s dietary needs are met.
* Administering prescribed medicines and maintaining the appropriate records in line with the Company’s policies and procedures.
* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring that each Resident within the Home has an individualised Care Plan.
* Practicing maximum integrity in all dealings with Residents’ personal and financial affairs and avoiding abuse of the privileged relationship that exists with Residents.
Requirements
We’re seeking someone who is:
* Warm, approachable, and brimming with positivity
* Organised, reliable, and confident in leading a team
* Creative, enthusiastic, and able to motivate others
* Passionate about improving the lives of older people
* Able to work flexibly across some evenings and weekends
* Previous experience in a similar role
* NVQ level 3 (or willing to work towards this)
