Are you an experienced Production or Operations Manager looking for your next challenge? This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced manufacturing business, where you’ll play a key role in shaping the production strategy, leading a skilled team, and driving operational excellence.
About the role:
As Production Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading all aspects of production and manufacturing, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety across the plant. Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll drive continuous improvement, maximise resources, and deliver against business objectives
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and motivate production teams to achieve targets in line with company objectives.
* Oversee plant performance, ensuring products are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
* Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and other productivity initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
* Manage budgets, KPIs, and resources to deliver strong financial and operational results.
* Implement and maintain robust health, safety, and compliance standards.
* Support the introduction of new initiatives, processes, and technologies.
* Provide strategic input into business planning and deliver long-term operational improvements.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Proven experience in a Production/Operations Manager role within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
* Excellent knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Financially and commercially astute, with experience managing budgets and KPIs.
* Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
