Towpath Team Volunteer roles offer a great way to meet other local Trust volunteers and staff, learn new skills, hear about other volunteer opportunities, or just spend a few hours outdoors improving your local waterway environment.
There are no formal skills required, and you will have the chance to volunteer across various unique and beautiful environments.
Join the Leighton Buzzard Towpath Taskforce. Activities include vegetation management, towpath improvement, lock painting, and more. All tools and equipment are provided, along with expert and friendly support. Activities occur once a month at different locations in Leighton Buzzard along the Grand Union Canal, on the third Wednesday of every month from 10:00 to 14:00. Once signed up, you will receive briefings about the session locations and notifications of other planned sessions.
