Job Summary
Registered Nurse role within Complex Leg Ulcer Service at Shelley Road Boscombe—develop into a specialist role in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Cover the county with focus on East Dorset, managing staff and clinics.
* Triage patients and undertake leg ulcer assessments at homes, Trust sites, care homes and GP practices.
* Lead and support project work, shape future service and promote National guidance.
* Provide specialist advice to level 2/3 providers, multi‑professional staff, patients and carers on all aspects of leg ulcer management.
* Demonstrate effective leadership, support level 2/3 service, support health care support workers and develop bank staff.
* Responsible for operational day‑to‑day management of level 2 leg ulcer clinics.
* Empower and support patients and their carers in managing leg ulcers.
* Work independently, communicating effectively with multidisciplinary professionals.
Eligibility & Requirements
* Registered Nurse with experience in leg ulcer management.
* Full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use (reasonable adjustments for disabled individuals).
* Enhanced DBS check covering cost by Trust; DBS update service acceptable.
* Must not require current Skilled Worker sponsorship to work in the UK.
* Fixed‑term role, secondment for current NHS employees (permission required).
Employment Details
Part‑time weekday post of 30 hours, flexible with minimum 22.5 hours over at least 3 working days. Supports hybrid model including working from home.
