Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Assistant Water Engineer, based in Havant, Hampshire with flexibility for some remote work. Responsibilities include supporting water engineering projects, performing data analysis, assisting in the planning and execution of infrastructure work, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, preparing technical reports, and contributing to maintaining the quality and reliability of water supply systems.
Qualifications
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with an aptitude for data analysis and interpretation.
* Knowledge of water engineering principles and practices, including infrastructure planning and project management.
* Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and environmental compliance requirements.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare technical reports and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
* Proficiency in engineering software and tools, as well as basic computer literacy (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, CAD software).
* Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
* Previous experience in water engineering or infrastructure projects is mandatory.
* Adaptable to hybrid working arrangements and able to commute to Havant, Hampshire as needed.
