Interview questions and process
The interview is an absolutely vital part of our hiring process. It helps us understand what kind of person you are and whether you\'d be a great fit at McDonald\'s. The interview will normally involve questions around values and attitudes and will allow you to show why you are suitable for the job. We may ask for examples of times you\'ve worked as part of a team and how you contributed. We hire for qualities and potential, rather than qualifications.
Prospects and culture
Our employees tend to stay with us due to a fun, sociable and flexible working environment, with opportunities to progress into roles with more responsibility. Many leaders started as crew members behind the counter or in the kitchens. We\'ve been recognised as a leading employer, offering learning, recognised qualifications, comprehensive benefits and flexible working arrangements as well as a clear career path. You\'ll be working in a fast moving, high energy environment, and we look for a genuine smile and the ability to connect with customers and make them feel valued. Friendly, welcoming, courteous and helpful behavior comes naturally, and effective communication skills are essential. The ability to maintain high energy levels while working efficiently and productively is important.
McDonald\'s values a good customer experience and a strong team dynamic. We expect you to be ready to contribute and collaborate with colleagues.
