An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Associate or Senior Associate to join a highly regarded Corporate team based in Nottingham. This role offers exposure to a broad mix of high-quality work, including private equity and M&A transactions, with the chance to collaborate on complex, high-value deals across a national platform.

You’ll be joining a thriving national Corporate, recognised for its strength in advising on a full spectrum of corporate matters across the UK. The team is ranked as a Top Legal 500 firm in the East Midlands, with national recognition for excellence in Company & Commercial and Banking & Finance work.
The Nottingham office offers a collaborative and forward-thinking culture, where lawyers are encouraged to take ownership of their work and contribute to the continued growth of the practice. The team advises a diverse client base across sectors including manufacturing, retail, recruitment, and education, delivering commercially focused, pragmatic solutions.
The Role
* Advising on M&A transactions, private equity deals, and corporate structuring
* Supporting cross-border transactions, investments, and capital markets work
* Managing client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives
* Supervising and mentoring junior team members
* Collaborating with colleagues across the national corporate network
The Candidate
* Qualified solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE in corporate law
* Strong technical grounding in M&A and general corporate matters
* Confident, personable, and commercially aware
* Experience supervising junior lawyers or a readiness to step into that role
* Interest in marketing and business development, with a desire to build a professional network
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
