Sales Director – Specialist Equipment & Hire Services
Location: East London (office‑based) + UK travel

The Opportunity
This is a Board‑level role for a commercially driven Sales Director to shape and deliver the Group’s growth strategy. You’ll lead national sales operations, drive revenue and margin performance, expand market presence and ensure the business continues to scale sustainably.
What You’ll Lead
* Group‑wide sales and marketing strategy
* National sales team leadership and performance
* Revenue, pricing and margin optimisation
* Key account development and major contract negotiation
* Market expansion across construction, infrastructure, utilities and industrial sectors
* Commercial systems, forecasting and strategic planning
* Cross‑functional collaboration with the Board and operational leadership
What You’ll Bring
* Proven Sales Director or senior commercial leadership experience within plant hire, construction support services, engineering or industrial markets
* Strong track record of delivering revenue growth and margin improvement
* Experience leading national, multi‑site sales teams
* Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation capability
* Strategic mindset with the ability to execute at pace
* Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills
Desirable
* Experience in plant hire or specialist equipment markets
* Established network across construction, infrastructure or utilities
