Job Title: CAMO Engineer Location: Bedfordshire/Milton Keynes Employment Type: Permanent (Mon-Fri) *Hybrid* Benefits: Fully-Funded training courses 25 days Annual Leave Bank Holidays Sick pay Pension Scheme Hybrid Working x 2 days About the Role On behalf of our client, a UK based Rotary MRO, we are currently recruiting for a CAMO Engineer to help support and oversee their maintenance activities. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic and hands-on team, with the opportunity for autonomy and fully funded training opportunities. Key Responsibilities The Role: Manage the continuing airworthiness of a fleet of helicopters in accordance with UK CAA Part CAMO / Part M requirements Develop, maintain and control Aircraft Maintenance Programmes (AMPs) and maintenance schedules Ensure timely compliance with Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs) and other mandatory requirements Maintain accurate and up-to-date aircraft technical records, including logbooks, life-limited parts and component tracking Prepare aircraft for Airworthiness Reviews and assist with the issue and management of Airworthiness Review Certificates (ARCs) Liaise closely with the Part 145 maintenance organisation, engineers and planners to ensure maintenance is properly planned and executed Monitor aircraft status, utilisation, defects and deferred maintenance items Support internal and external CAA audits, investigations and regulatory oversight activities Provide continuing airworthiness advice to engineers, management and aircraft owners/operators Contribute to the continuous improvement of CAMO procedures, systems and compliance standards Ensure all CAMO activities are conducted in line with company procedures and safety management requirements Candidate Requirements Essential: Experience in Part M / Part CAMO / Continuing Airworthiness Management Strong understanding of airworthiness regulations, record-keeping, and compliance workflows Familiarity with helicopter maintenance planning and documentation systems Ability to liaise with CAA and team engineers to monitor and close airworthiness issues Excellent organisational and communication skills Right to Work in the UK Desirable: Knowledge of records systems, AD/SB tracking, and ARC issuance procedures Rotary background or former experience in a similar role Why Work with JMC Aviation?
