Role Responsibilities
8. Design and conduct experiments using HPLC/UPLC/GC/IC/MS in support of product method development and validation.
9. Transfer methods to others sites within the Haleon / CMO network.
10. Provide expertise in maintenance and usage of all analytical instrumentation.
11. Act as a technical team member with cross functional project responsibilities on assigned projects.
12. Provide expertise in the areas of Analytical Science and Technology; method development and validation, structure elucidation of impurities, state-of-the-art methodology and installation and qualification of equipment within AS&T site or TPO laboratories.
13. Support operation and qualification of analytical laboratories and equipment at site level with expert knowledge and state-of-the-art processes and systems.
14. Support the OTC and OH Quality Control network and lead activities related to analytical methods and instrumentation, as well as troubleshooting and resolving investigations to facilitate solutions to complex challenges.
15. Collaborate with sites, TPO, R&D and Regulatory Affairs in the preparation, management and follow up of Health Authority inspections with regard to analytical methodology, equipment and systems.
16. Utilise proactive thinking to generate creative solutions to complex technical problems.
17. Leads and manages specific safety and quality responsibilities for the department.
18. Reviews and approves departmental quality documentation (including SOPs, WIs, validation protocols, validation reports, investigational reports).
19. Makes appropriate independent decisions or offers recommendations to the wider business.
20. Contributes to the development of others by sharing their experience as a mentor / coach.
Basic Qualifications:
21. BSc Chemistry
22. Extensive pharmaceutical industry experience with operational experience in advanced analytical chemistry in implementing laboratory methodology, systems and equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
23. MSc / PhD in Analytical Chemistry
24. Specialisation in method development
