As an SEN Teaching Assistant focusing on KS2 Autism Support, you'll work closely with our exceptional teaching team to provide tailored assistance, promote inclusivity, and empower our students!

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
4. Previous experience supporting students with autism or relevant strengths in SEN education.
5. Strong understanding of autism spectrum disorders and evidence of successful support strategies.
6. ️ Patience, empathy, and a compassionate approach to working with students with diverse needs.
7. ️ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to effectively interact with students with autism.
8. Awareness of sensory sensitivities and ability to create a sensory-friendly learning environment.
9. Familiarity with autism-specific interventions and approaches, such as TEACCH and visual supports (desirable).
