The Role Teaching Assistant for children with Complex Disabilities This is a rewarding and hands-on role within specialist schools settings across Halifax and Huddersfield, supporting pupils with complex disabilities. Every day will be different, as you work closely with students to support their learning, communication, and overall development. You will provide both classroom and pastoral support, helping pupils to engage in activities while promoting independence, comfort, and wellbeing. The role will include supporting with personal care, mobility, and communication needs, using a calm and consistent approach to ensure each pupil feels safe and supported.
