An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Chef to work within the kitchen at Whitehills Health Care and Community Centre in Forfar. We are looking for a team member to join our department. You will be responsible for delivering the highest standard of catering service within the hospital to patients, staff and visitors whilst maintaining a clean, safe working environment.
You must have the ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative, follow instructions and possess good communication skills. You must also be able to respond constructively to unpredictable situations and cope under pressure.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

The working hours for this post are 16 hours per week to be discussed at interview. Shift times vary between 7am – 6.30pm and enhancements are paid for weekend work.
Please note the salary scale for this post is pro rata for part time hours
* This contract is Permanent Post and previous relevant experience in a Catering environment is essential, as is a good knowledge of work procedures, practices & equipment through experience and professional qualifications to SVQ/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
* Enhancements are paid for weekend working.
