About the Role
Are you looking for a dynamic opportunity to showcase your security expertise? Join our team as a Temporary Security Officer! You will be working a shift pattern of 4 on 4 off day shifts, totalling 42 hours per week. This fixed-term contract of 2 months spanning from June 1st to July 31st 2024 approximately, will give you the opportunity to play a crucial role in protecting our premises in order to utilise your strong communication skills, vigilance and ability to search and challenge effectively. Job Opportunity
* Monitor and control entry and exit points to the premises; verifying identification of individuals
* Conduct systematic searches of contractor vehicles entering the premises, utilising appropriate equipment and techniques to ensure thorough inspection
* Identify and report any suspicious items or activities and remain vigilant and observant of any unusual behaviour or security threats
* Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies, following established protocols
* Maintain and document accurate records of access control activities, vehicle searches and security incidents accurately and comprehensively
Essential Skills
* SIA Licence
* Driving Licence
* Access to vehicle/good transport links
* 2yrs+ Security Experience
* Strong communication skills
* Vigilant and able to search and challenge
