Morson is delighted to be working in partnership with a leading aerospace organisation to recruit a Supply Chain Principle for an initial 18 month contract. There is a pay rate of up to £28 Per Hour PAYE or £37.61 Per Hour Umbrella on offer for the successful candidates. The role would initially be full time on site however with possible scope to move to hybrid once fully settled in with 3 days a week spent on site in Portsmouth and 2 days a week working from home.

Role Description
• Working within the Warship Support Maritime Services Supply Chain responsible for delivering procurement / supply chain activities associated with a defined area. The role includes supporting the development of procurement / supply chain strategies & plans, and the engagement and management of suppliers, projects and other stakeholders to deliver project/business objectives. The management, coaching, mentoring and development of subordinate team members to drive performance.
• Responsible for the day to day procurement of materials and subcontract services as first level escalation ensuring requirements related to cost, quality, delivery and export control are competitively achieved in line with requirements.
