We’re looking for a Commercial Assistant to join the team at Havant Thicket Reservoir. If you’re looking for long term, interesting work close to home then Havant Thicket Reservoir could be the place for you. It is the first new build reservoir in 30 years’ and will protect some of rarest chalk streams in the country and provide a futureproof source of water to the region – estimated completion is 2029.
The Commercial Assistant role is with one of the Joint Venture partners and will comprise of working with the commercial team on a day-to-day basis to ensure accurate reporting, cost administration and general support to a team of Quantity Surveyors.
The hours are 8.30 - 17.30 with flexibility to work from home 1 day a week.
Commercial Assistant Duties:
* Support the Project Quantity Surveyor by preparing cost data and internal reports.
* Maintain accurate weekly records for labour, plant, and materials, including time sheets and Goods Received Notes.
* Run and verify cost reports for labour, plant, and purchase ledgers, resolving any discrepancies or invoice queries.
* Liaise with site teams, Operations, and Accounts to ensure all cost and payment records are accurate and up to date.
* Attend cost and commercial meetings, providing up-to-date financial information and assisting with monthly reporting.
