Site Engineer Civil Engineering (Roads & Infrastructure)Location: LouthSalary: £40,000 £60,000We are currently seeking a motivated Site Engineer with 26 years experience to join a well-established and growing civil engineering contractor delivering high-quality infrastructure projects across Ireland and the UK. Known for a strong pipeline of work and a collaborative, hands-on approach, this contractor offers excellent career progression and the opportunity to work on large-scale, technically challenging schemes.You will be joining the team on a major road construction project in Louth, gaining exposure to key elements of earthworks and site works within a supportive and experienced environment.Key Responsibilities:Support the delivery of earthworks and site works packages on a large-scale road projectSet out, level, and survey the site to ensure works are carried out in line with design specificationsAssist with the planning and coordination of daily site activitiesWork closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager to ensure smooth project deliveryEnsure all work is carried out in accordance with Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standardsMonitor and maintain quality control procedures on siteMaintain accurate and up-to-date site records, including drawings, reports, and daily diariesIdentify and report any site issues, including delays, design discrepancies, or safety concernsLiaise with subcontractors and site teams to ensure efficient workflow and sequencing of activitiesContribute to short-term planning, including lookahead programmesAbout You:26 years experience in a Site Engineer or similar role within civil engineeringStrong background in civils, ideally with experience in roads, earthworks, or infrastructure projectsProficient in setting out and use of surveying equipmentGood understanding of construction drawings and specificationsStrong communication and organisational skillsA proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and developThis is a great opportunity to join a dynamic contractor with a strong reputation in the civil engineering sector and play a key role in delivering a high-profile infrastructure project.For more information or to apply, please contact: | Skills:road civil ConstructionWHJS1_NI
