About the Role As a Cover Supervisor, you will lead classes of around 30 students in the absence of the class teacher. Lessons are fully pre-planned — your role is to bring energy, leadership, and strong behaviour management skills to ensure students stay engaged and on track. You will: Deliver pre-set lessons with confidence Manage classroom behaviour and dynamics Motivate and engage students Take accurate registers Provide clear feedback and a smooth handover to teaching staff Your background in coaching, mentoring, youth work, or similar roles means you already have the transferable skills schools value — leadership, resilience, communication, and the ability to build positive relationships with young people.
