Senior Business Development Manager - EV

Well established specialist, high quality, electronic manufacturing business, operates across a number of sectors including Medical, Aerospace and Marine. They also design and deliver intelligent EV charging solutions that help organisations scale sustainably, operate efficiently, and prepare for a fully electric future.
They’re now searching for a driven Business Development Manager with a true hunter mentality, someone who thrives on opening doors, creating new relationships, and winning business in a fast growing, competitive market. Focussing on securing new partnerships with OEMs, manufacturers, and organisations deploying EV charging at scale. This is a field based role with full autonomy across the UK.
Responsibilities
· Identify, target, and win new business opportunities across a range of organisations including car OEM’s, energy retailers, fleet operators and house builders.
· Build strong, long term relationships through a consultative and solution led approach.
· Present and position the company’s EV charging solutions to senior stakeholders and technical teams.
· Lead the entire sales cycle, from prospecting through to proposal, negotiation and close.
· Work cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver accurate, scalable solutions.
The ideal Candidate
· Proven experience in business development, particularly in a hunter role.
· Background in EV charging, CleanTech or energy is preferred.
· Exceptional relationship building, communication, and negotiation skills.
· A proactive, ambitious approach with the drive to win new business.
· Comfortable with a field-based role and regular travel across the UK.
· A genuine passion for CleanTech, electrification, and sustainable technology.
