Job Title: Structural Design Engineer - Structural Steel

The Opportunity
A leading structural steel specialist with over 50 years' industry experience is seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join their expanding team. Recognised for delivering some of the UK's most technically demanding projects, this is an excellent chance to take on a varied and rewarding role within a highly regarded business.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver structural steelwork design in line with codes and standards.
* Undertake member and connection design using Tekla Structural Designer, Tekla Portal Designer, and Masterseries.
* Manage design budgets and report to the Head of Design.
* Co-ordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
* Mentor graduate engineers and support their development.
* Contribute to company QA processes and continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile
* Minimum 10 years' experience in structural steel design.
* Degree-qualified, ideally progressing towards Chartered or Incorporated status.
* Proficiency in steelwork design software.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Experience in temporary works design desirable.
Package & Benefits
* £50,000 - £60,000 DOE
