Role Overview
Join the RAC as a SuperFlex Roadside Mechanic. As a Superflex Patrol Roadside Mechanic you’ll provide the adaptability our service relies on.
Salary & Hours
* £50,668 basic salary, with the opportunity to earn up to £54,000.
* Approximately 40 hours per week; roster published 7 days in advance and core hours confirmed 3 days prior.
* Shifts between 06:00 and 02:00, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

* You manage your own kit, keep your van stocked, and handle reports with precision.
* You read a situation, make the right call, support members, and keep everyone moving.
Qualifications
* Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with demonstrative technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
* Customer‑focused approach.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Flexibility to work on relatively short notice and to travel with overnight stays if necessary.
