We are seeking a skilled and reliable Chef de Partie to join the culinary team atone of the UK’s most popular water theme parks. This role involves preparing and cooking high-quality food in a fast-paced, family-friendly environment, ensuring consistent standards and exceptional service to our guests.
As a Chef de Partie, you will work across various food outlets within the park, supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering well-prepared meals while maintaining a clean, organised kitchen space in line with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, cook and present dishes to agreed standards
* Manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring smooth operation during service
* Assist in stock control, food rotation, and waste minimisation
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with food hygiene standards
* Ensure all allergen procedures and documentation are correctly followed
* Comply with all legal and company requirements, including food safety and health & safety policies
Competencies Required:
* Strong cooking skills with attention to detail
* Good communication and teamwork abilities
* Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
* Positive attitude and willingness to adapt to different kitchen sections
Qualifications & Compliance:
* Food Safety Certificate Level 2 – required
* Food Allergens Certificate – required
* Proven knowledge of food safety and legal compliance
Uniform & Equipment:
* White chef jacket
* Black trousers
* Steel toe safety shoes
* Chef hat or skull cap
* Kitchen Apron
* Bring own sharp knives safely wrapped in a knife roll or case (cloth wrapping is not permitted)
