Our client is looking to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner to manage an HR team responsible for delivering a people strategy that focuses on adding value, building capability and performance, whilst driving employee engagement forward. This is a generalist role incorporating a mix of strategic and operational HR activity; this could be organisational design and culture change projects through to managing escalated Employee Relations such as grievance/absence and using data to look at trends. This is a unionised environment so ideally, you will have worked in a business that recognises trade unions and has dealt with them on day to day issues.
You will need to have generalist experience as either an HR Manager or Business Partner.
* Ideally experience of working with Trade Unions.
* Experience in managing complex Employee / Industrial Relations cases
* Experience in delivering change and transformation projects
* CIPD level 5, ideally level 7
* A proactive, driven individual who works at pace but with good attention to detail
* Home based but comfortable with travel around the North, Midlands and Wales. May require the occasional overnight stay
