Salary: Up to £35000 depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm Flexibility on hours available
Job type: Permanent
Role of Engineering Technician:
* Carrying out full electro mechanical assembly of products including PCB assembly, building and installation of harnesses and Looms
* Work collaboratively with the Design team to support prototype builds and generate build documentation.
* Calibration of firmware and software
* Reworking PCBs and carrying out fault finding down to component level
* Carrying out final test of products and generating reports
The Engineering Technician should have the following skills and experience:
* Confident in PCB assembly and reworking with both surface mount and through hole components
* Previous electro mechanical assembly experience
* Able to follow engineering drawings xsngvjr and circuit diagrams
* Prior test and fault finding experience would be beneficial
* Previous experience within an engineering or prototype position would be beneficial
