A principal contractor with sustained year on year profits are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
This opportunity will suit a commercially astute QS who enjoys working for stable small to medium principal contractors and delivering projects across all building sectors.
The Role
* Managing the commercial aspects of building projects within commercial, education, residential, retail and leisure up to £4m
* Cost planning, estimating, and tender analysis
* Working closely alongside the Commercial Manager and Director on budgets and forecasts
* Managing subcontract procurement and contract administration (JCT / NEC)
* Monitoring risks, opportunities, and overall project financial performance
* Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
* Supporting and mentoring junior members of the commercial team

* Experience managing projects commercially from start to finish.
