Your newpany

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Consultant to cover operational repairs management and lead on a criticalpliance improvement programme at an organisation in Cambridge.

This interim role will lead a small team and will focus on auditing currentpliance practices and developing a robustpliance Framework to ensure the organisation meets all legal, regulatory, and industry standards across its estate operations.


Your new role

1. Conduct aprehensive audit of currentpliance practices.
2. Develop a structuredpliance Framework, including policies, procedures, and controls.
3. Establish asset schedules and maintenancepliance work descriptions based on SFG20 standards.
4. Design and implement apliance Safety Report forernance and performance review.

CAFM System DevelopmentLead the development ofpliance modules within the TABs CAFM system.Collaborate with software providers to refine workflows, asset registers, and reporting tools.Deliver training and upskilling programmes for staff onpliance and CAFM usage.

Administrative & Data ManagementDevelop service briefs for third-partypliance partners (, asbestos, legionella).Create a 24-month procurement andpliance programme.Ensure accurate digital and physical records ofpliance documentation via SharePoint and CAFM integration.


What you'll need to succeed

Essential:
5. Proven senior experience in repairs, maintenance
6. Experience ofpliance, risk management, audit, andernance.
7. Ability to interpret and applyplex regulatory requirements, ideally within heritage estates.
8. Strong track record in developingpliance inspection regimes and procurement frameworks.
9. Advanced IT skills, including MS Excel, CAFM systems, and SharePoint.
10. Excellent organisational andmunication skills.
Desirable:
11. Experience deliveringpliance training and coaching.
12. Knowledge of statutorypliance in building maintenance and estates management.
13. Familiarity with higher education environments and heritage asset management.
