We are currently seeking to recruit a Communications Executive to join the Stellantis Performance Academy in Coventry.
Role purpose
The Communications Executive will play a pivotal role in managing both internal and external communications for the Performance Academy, reporting directly to the Head of Digital Learning and working with the Marketing and Communications Lead.
Key responsibilities include optimising our email platform, crafting and managing impactful communications, planning and executing campaigns, and analysing performance to ensure all messaging reflects our brand values and strategic goals. Additionally, the role will support broader Stellantis communications with retailer partners using the same email system. This involves collaborating with various departments to deliver communications on their behalf, while ensuring compliance with established processes and governance frameworks.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
* Maximise the use of our email platform to ensure effective communication with our retailer partners and the wider business
* Develop and execute email campaigns that engage recipients and drive action
* Create segmented lists to personalise communication based on audience behaviour and data
* Utilise tools within the platform to enhance communications and impact
* Plan, coordinate, and execute communication campaigns, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
* Collaborate with all teams with Stellantis Performance Academy to align messaging and content
* Write and edit clear, engaging, and brand-aligned communications, including emails, newsletters, and press releases
* Ensure consistency in messaging and tone across all platforms and communications
* Monitor and analyse campaign performance data, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
* Report on KPIs such as open rates, click-through rates, and overall engagement metrics
* Ensure all external communications are on-brand and maintain the professional standards of the business unit
* Develop communication guidelines to be used by different teams when preparing their own materials
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in communications, marketing, or a related role
* Strong writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail
* Familiarity with email marketing platforms
* Ability to organise and execute campaigns and managing/achieving timelines
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and present data
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects at once
* Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field (Desirable)
* Experience in corporate communications (Desirable)
* Understanding of email marketing best practices and regulations (e.g., GDPR) (Desirable)

Salary & Benefits: £26,437 dependent on experience, Company Car, 26 Days Annual Leave, plus Bank Holidays, Calex Employee Benefits Packages (Inc Private GP and Healthcare Services, High Street Discounts, Discounted Gym Memberships and on Demand 24 Hour Wellbeing Service (Counselling and Advice), Life Assurance, Pension, optional private Healthcare cover. Company Car (BIK) – Example costings, based on a high-spec, fully electric Peugeot e-2008 GT: The P11D value is approximately £32,845. Therefore the annual tax payable by the employee would be approx. £130 per year (20% tax payer). Our Company Cars also include, Insurance, tax, tyres, breakdown cover and Windscreen repairs.
Contract: Full Time / Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday / 40 hours per week
Place of Work: Hybrid role, working from home and the Stellantis Performance Academy in Coventry, a minimum of 3 days per week
Pre-employment Checks: Calex will undertake the relevant/standard employment checks with any successful candidate. This includes contacting all nominated references, as well as checking candidate ID, driving licence (if appropriate) and right to work in the UK. Some roles may also be subject to further pre-employment checks (confirmation will be provided through the recruitment process). The nature of this role may necessitate that we undertake a DBS check.
