As Head of Compounding Operations, you will lead our MHRA‑licensed Aseptic Compounding Unit, driving operational excellence, product quality and a culture where our people and patients come first.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our aseptic compounding function, influence clinical fulfilment across the wider business, and lead a large, high‑performing team through a period of transformation — including our planned site relocation.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Provide strategic and operational leadership across all aseptic compounding activities in our MHRA‑licensed facility.
* Act as the named Production Manager on the MHRA MS Licence.
* Ensure all aseptic products are manufactured, stored and supplied in line with GMP, internal procedures and regulatory standards.
* Lead on production planning, capacity management and scheduling to maximise safe, efficient output.
* Drive quality excellence including process validation, environmental monitoring, CAPA, deviations and audit readiness.
* Manage departmental budgets, forecasting and cost‑saving initiatives, championing Lean principles and operational effectiveness.
* Support cross‑functional alignment with warehousing, logistics, Pharmacy Operations and Clinical Operations.
* Lead, coach and develop a team of around 30 employees, building capability, confidence and a strong succession pipeline.
* Play a key role in our upcoming site relocation, ensuring continuity, engagement and a smooth operational transition.

Who We’re Looking For
* Highly experienced in a management or senior supervisory role within pharmaceutical, aseptic or healthcare environments.
* Has a strong knowledge of aseptic processing, compounding and GMP‑regulated operations.
* Experienced in SOP development, audit hosting, environmental/equipment monitoring and GMP compliance.
* Has a proven ability to manage large teams, including coaching, development and succession planning.
* Has a strong financial acumen, including budget ownership, forecasting and leading cost‑reduction initiatives.
Desirable
* Experience as a named Production Manager on an MHRA licence.
* Lean/Six Sigma exposure or qualification.
