Safety & Quality Engineer
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum DOE
Location: Coventry
Hours: Full time, Monday – Friday (40 hours per week)
Holiday: 25 days + Bank Holidays

About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Safety & Quality Engineer to join a growing team. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance across the business, working closely with operational, technical, and commercial teams.
This is a hands-on role where you can make a real impact by improving processes, supporting audits, and fostering a strong culture of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
* Maintain and improve quality management systems and procedures
* Monitor product and process quality, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement
* Investigate quality issues, incidents, and near misses, implementing corrective actions
* Support audits and compliance activities
* Develop and implement health & safety policies, risk assessments, and site inspections
* Promote a positive health & safety culture through training and engagement
* Provide guidance to teams and managers
* Prepare reports for senior management
Requirements
* Experience in quality, compliance, or health & safety roles
* Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems
* Relevant qualifications in Quality, Engineering, Health & Safety, or related field
* Strong attention to detail and methodical approach
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently
* Willing to travel within the UK as needed
