Role: Mobile Fitter - Newark
45 hours per week – Monday to Friday
About you:
Are you a determined individual with experience working within Plant Hire, HGV, Heavy Plant & Machinery Industry? If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mobile Fitter to join our talented and highly respected team at our Newark Depot.
You will be responsible for attending customer sites to service and carry out repairs on our fleet of over 3000 Machines with an average fleet age of 3 years, (Telehandlers, Excavators, Dumpers and Rollers).
About The Role:
* Attend customer sites to diagnose and repair machine breakdowns.
* Carry out on-site routine servicing as per manufacture specifications.
* Attend depot to support workshop when required.
* Identify damaged or defective parts and carry out necessary repairs.
* Carry out welding & fabrication repairs or modifications.
* Comply with company health, safety and environmental policies.
About You:
* NVQ in Plant maintenance (desirable).
* Experience of working with in the Plant Hire industry (desirable).
* Competent in driving and operating Plant Hire equipment (desirable).
* Professional and customer focussed.
* Be able to work as part of a small team as well as working independently.
* Ability to ensure all work is completed to a high standard.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
* Good mechanical knowledge of Plant Hire equipment.
* Clean UK Driving License.
* Have possession of your own tools (bespoke tools required supplied)
