This role is perfect for someone who enjoys supporting learning, delivering interventions, and providing reliable classroom cover when needed. Requirements Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one). HLTA status or equivalent experience. Experience in a primary school setting. Strong understanding of the primary curriculum. Confident leading groups and delivering interventions. Positive, organised, and flexible approach with strong relationship-building skills. Key Responsibilities Support teaching and learning across the school. Lead small-group activities and targeted interventions. Cover lessons using teachers’ plans to maintain learning continuity. Use assessment to adapt support and meet pupils’ needs. Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment. Work collaboratively with staff and communicate effectively with parents.
