Enquiry Handling Executive
Grade F (£28,047 - £31,460 p.a. pro rata)
Fixed Term Contract (12 months)
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? Nottingham Trent University (NTU) is looking for a committed and professional individual to join our Central Enquiry Handling Team
As an Enquiry Handling Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our university’s frontline services, supporting students, staff, and the wider NTU community by ensuring a smooth, informative, and reassuring customer experience. Reporting to the Enquiry Handling Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards of service and contributing to the continuous improvement of our enquiry handling processes.
The NTU Enquiries team was set up in response to the COVID19 pandemic due to an influx of calls and emails into the university from student, parents/guardians, and staff contacting the university with an entire range of questions and concerns about restrictions, travel, teaching, isolation, safety etc. It was clear that that we needed a strong, dedicated team to be ‘experts’ on the ever-changing rules and restrictions of the pandemic and to be able to deliver this information professionally and calmly, minimising distress at such uncertain times. As a result of this, the NTU Enquiries team was set up to provide a dedicated service in relation to Covid19 enquiries.
Thanks to our success and professionalism, the team has since evolved into a vital part of NTU’s central services, now supporting a wide range of departments across the university. We’re experts in delivering clear, calm, and accurate information and we’re proud of the role we play in enhancing the NTU experience.
For more details, please take a look at the role profile. We'll still consider applications even if you don't meet every single one of the requirements, so don't be put off if you don't match them perfectly. Please ensure you upload a supporting statement to support your application.
Interviews; Monday 20th October.
