We have over 300 B&Q Stores, with our Digital Hub Stores being the largest in the estate. These stores deliver locally to customers’ homes using 3.5-ton vans, ranging from small items like paint to large orders like flooring packs. You will be involved in heavy lifting and play a key role in helping customers create a home they love. When not delivering, you will be based on the shop floor, using new technology to fulfill customer orders and support colleagues. Safety and efficiency are priorities, and you'll represent the B&Q brand by putting customers first everywhere you go.
What we need:
A great communicator who can think clearly and make sound plans, even in busy situations. You’re organized, analytical, and able to keep things simple. We will provide the 3.5-ton van, training, and all necessary equipment. You need a manual UK driving licence (Category B/B1), held for at least a year with no more than 6 points. Previous experience as a multi-drop delivery driver is useful but not essential. Flexibility to work on a rota including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays is required.
To ensure safety and reassure customers, successful candidates will undergo checks via Experian with the DVLA to verify provided information. Additionally, a DBS check will be conducted. Any discrepancies will be discussed directly with you.
