Job Description
3. Manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
4. Maintain payroll records and ensure timely payments to all employees.
5. Process statutory payments, including sick pay, maternity pay, and pensions.
6. Handle payroll queries and provide guidance to employees on payroll-related matters.
7. Collaborate with the accounting & finance team to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation.
8. Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to internal and external stakeholders.
9. Ensure compliance with all tax and legislative requirements within the payroll function.
10. Identify opportunities for process improvements within payroll operations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Manager should have:
11. Proven expertise in large payroll headcount on monthly and fortnightly basis.
12. Proven experience of managing a team.
13. Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and tax compliance.
14. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
15. Strong communication skills to address employee queries effectively.
16. Happy to work in an office environment 5 days per week.
