Job Overview:
Due to expansion and growth, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team in Chester City Centre - mainly weekend mornings (6am-11am) however overtime is available if required. City centre location, so driving is not essential for this job. As a Cleaning Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in various commercial settings - to exceptional standards. Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed
- Follow established safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleaning protocols
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if necessary
- Reliable transportation to travel between job sites
