The Role
As a Senior or Project Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take ownership of a £20m Mechanical Package on a pharmaceutical development in Oxford. You’ll represent the company with commercial excellence and lead the full lifecycle of delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* End-to-end commercial delivery: procurement through to final account
* Lead commercial conversations and resolve issues
* Manage contracts: payments, notices, variations
* Produce financial reporting: CVRs, client reports, variation accounts
* Mentor and support Junior Quantity Surveyors
* Build strong relationships with contractors, subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders
* Pass all background checks - high security site
What We’re Looking For
* Forward-thinking, relationship-focused professional
* Commercially astute with experience managing CVRs, subcontractor accounts, and project close-outs
* Mechanical & Electrical knowledge (contractor/subcontractor background ideal)
* Independent worker with tailored support available
* Experience in pharmaceuticals or technical projects (advantageous, not essential)
* Organised team player, driven by continuous improvement
* Enjoys mentoring junior staff
