Job Description
3. Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
4. Perform risk, value management and cost control during construction.
5. Advise on procurement strategy and assist in establishing a client's requirements.
6. Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks.
7. Prepare and analyse costings for tenders.
8. Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes.
9. Ensure that post-construction as-built drawings and specifications are prepared.
10. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality of construction.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Quantity Surveyor should have:
11. A degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
12. Working knowledge of construction contracts and tendering processes.
13. A strong understanding of construction project management.
14. Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software.
15. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
16. A proactive attitude with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
