An established and growing financial advisory firm is seeking an experienced
Paraplanner
to join their team on a permanent basis. The company offers a modern, forward-thinking approach to financial planning, specialising in pensions and investments, while maintaining the personal touch of a traditional advisory service.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified (or part-qualified) paraplanner who wants to take on more responsibility in supporting advisers with technical research, suitability reports, and financial planning solutions, while working in a supportive and professional environment. Responsibilities:
Producing high-quality suitability reports across pensions, investments, and protection. Carrying out in-depth technical research and analysis using provider platforms and tools including FE Analytics. Preparing and maintaining client files, ensuring compliance standards are met. Preparing cashflow modelling and projections (training provided if required). Assisting advisers with technical queries and supporting them in client meetings where appropriate. Processing and monitoring new business applications through to completion. Maintaining accurate records on the bespoke back-office system. Liaising with clients and providers by email and phone in a professional and timely manner. The Ideal Candidate Will Have :
Previous paraplanning experience within an IFA/Wealth Management firm. Ideally Level 4 Diploma qualified (or working towards). Solid technical knowledge of pensions, investments, and tax wrappers (CGT, ISAs, DB schemes, protection). Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and recommend appropriate solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. How to Apply :
