1:1 Teaching Assistant (KS2 – Behaviour & SEN Support)

We are seeking a dedicated, resilient and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in Key Stage 2 with behavioural and additional learning needs.
This role is ideal for someone who is calm under pressure, consistently positive, and flexible in their approach, with a genuine commitment to helping children thrive both academically and emotionally.
The Role
Providing 1:1 support for a KS2 pupil with behaviour and SEN needs
Supporting emotional regulation, engagement, and positive behaviour
Working closely with the class teacher, SENCo and wider support team
Adapting support strategies to meet the pupil’s changing needs
Helping to create a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment

Has a calm, patient and nurturing nature
Remains positive and consistent, even in challenging situations
Is flexible, adaptable and solution-focused
Can build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
Has experience supporting children with behavioural needs and/or SEN (desirable but not essential)
Understands the importance of boundaries, routines and emotional support

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
