We are working with a well-established, boutique IFA firm based in Hertford, who are looking to appoint a Trainee Independent Financial Adviser. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner looking to step up into advice or a Junior Adviser seeking a supportive environment to progress their career.
About the Firm
1. A close-knit team of four in the Hertford office, working collaboratively
2. The existing team includes two highly experienced IFAs, a Paraplanner (progressed from apprentice), and an Administrator.
3. A mature and supportive environment where flexibility, care for clients, and teamwork is central.
Details of the Role:
4. Work closely with Advisers to support and gradually take on your own clients.
5. Writing high-quality financial planning reports and ensuring clients receive the best ongoing service.
6. Opportunity to develop into a full Adviser role in a nurturing, collaborative setting.
7. Full or part-time considered, with flexibility to fit the right person.

8. An experienced Paraplanner ready to step up, or a Junior IFA looking for a supportive home.
9. Someone who is caring, client-focused, and committed to providing excellent service.
10. Level 4 qualified or an exam away
11. Strong report writing and technical skills.

Benefits:
13. Salary between £35,000 £45,000
14. Hybrid working: typically 4 days in the office, 1 day from home (Wednesday).
