We have an exciting new opportunity for flexible, skilled kitchen professionals to support our busy Northumberland coastal Inn, The Bamburgh Castle Inn.
The role involves travel to The Bamburgh Castle Inn with other team members (car-share); therefore, a full driving license and own transport are preferred but not essential. Drivers will receive a higher rate of pay and mileage reimbursement (subject to tax and NI).
You’ll Fit Right Inn
As Kitchen Porter, you’ll support the kitchen team by maintaining high standards of food hygiene. Your positive attitude, teamwork skills, and willingness to learn are essential as you manage the wash-up area, ensure kitchen equipment cleanliness, and assist with basic food preparation.
You’ll work closely with team members and customers, demonstrating confidence and courtesy. This role requires flexibility and a commitment to personal presentation. You’ll keep the kitchen running smoothly by following the cleaning schedule and performing other duties as directed.
