Our client is expanding their team of expert Solar Engineers, and were on the lookout for experienced electricians with a background in solar PV installations. If youre ready to play a key role in accelerating the shift to clean energy, this is your chance. The Role As a Solar PV Electrician, youll be responsible for the safe and compliant installation of solar PV and battery systems, helping to ensure every project meets industry standards and exceeds customer expectations. This is a field-based role, primarily covering a two-hour radius from your home postcode, with occasional travel further afield and potential overnight stays. We're looking for individuals who are technically capable, customer-focused, and genuinely enthusiastic about making low-carbon technologies accessible and effective for everyone. Key Responsibilities Install solar PV systems to the highest standards Set up and commission battery storage systems Ensure compliance with MCS and relevant industry regulations Work in accordance with Risk Assessments and Method Statements Adhere to Working at Height safety guidelines and practices Deliver outstanding service and advice to customers What Were Looking For Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team Full UK driving licence Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds or equivalent) 18th Edition Wiring Regulations 2394/2395 (or equivalent) Inspection & Testing qualification Experience with solar PV and heat pump installations is highly desirable What Youll Love A flexible and competitive salary
