Apply Save We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Optometrist to join the team on a fixed-term basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment where patient care is at the heart of everything we do. You will carry out comprehensive eye examinations, advise on lens and frame options, and provide expert vision care in line with current clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough eye examinations and assessments
2. Prescribe corrective lenses and manage follow-up care
3. Provide advice on eye health, vision care, and preventative measures
4. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols
5. Collaborate effectively with the optical team to deliver excellent patient service
Requirements:
6. Qualified Optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
7. Experience in independent or retail practice preferred but not essential
8. Excellent communication and patient care skills
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
